please help me. i recently got a new betta [yesterday as of posting this] and i just noticed the whole left side of her face has raised scales as if someone had rubbed them backwards. every time i try to figure out what it is all that comes up is dropsey, but so far its just the left side of her face and i havent seen any bloating.
im worried that it will spread to the rest of my sorority

Just from how you describe it it doesn‘t sound like a disease - rather an injury. But let‘s wait for your reply.

i apologize for using your time. last night she was acting fine so i was going to reply first thing this morning, but when i woke up she was basically a completely different fish. she was always at the bottom of the tank, nose forst in the gravel, only moving for air.
when i was about to post the sheet she actually passed. thank you for your time
