Anyone got any ideas what this is? My Betta has some fin rot so unsure if it's linked but can't quite work out what this is.

Unable to answer some of the questions at the moment. Is there no rough idea on what it is?

Hi! Try and answer the questions as best you can (you can take some tank water to a pet store and they'll test the parameters for free), and another question that sometimes is not clear is that the source of water question is looking for whether you use tap water, spring water, RO water etc.

In a 1.6 gallon, you need to do more water changes. 30% water change weekly isn't enough...
I copied and pasted this from Oldfishlady's water change recommendations.
1-4gal with a filter
Twice weekly-1-50% water only and 1-50% with substrate cleaning by vacuum or stir and dip method.
Filter media needs a swish/rinse in old tank water a couple of times a month.

You might want to do more because he has fin rot.

That's what was being done in the main tank. He's now a quarantine with daily 100% changes.
