I bought a 2.5 gallon a month or so ago but then decided to move Larry to a 10 gal. Does anyone know what PetSmart's return policy is? Not sure if I have the receipt anymore but I have all the pieces and they are all in perfect condition.

I would hang onto it for a back up in case you want to change your decor or something, you could put him in the smaller one for a day.

I ended up returning it (I have another small tank for quarantine and such) and got almost $60 in store credit. It was like Christmas!

LOL, I returned it with the heater and decorations and such as well. The tank itself was only like $30.

Petsmart is awesome for returning stuff, I have returned two tanks in the past lol!

Seriously, they were great! I didn't have a receipt or anything and I was still able to return everything. Some stuff I could have gotten cash for as well, but I chose store credit since I spend such a ridiculous amount of money there haha.

Hmm, they should not have accepted anything that you can plug-in without a receipt, like the heater or filter. However, that cashier's mistake is your gain.

As it had only been a few weeks, they were able to get the receipt from their logs. There was one, it was just their version and not mine.
