This is hard to type. I only had him a week. And it's because of my stupidity that he's gone. He was gorgeous, a beautiful white, pure white, with bright red fins. He was feisty and spunky and I loved him as soon as I laid eyes on him.

I worried that he wasn't getting enough sleep due to not having a house to hide in, so I put a little shot glass thing in that had a little stem on it in with him. I had no idea the opening was big enough for him to get his head in. I pulled him to the surface when I found him, hoping desperately that he was still alive, but needing air, which I could give him while we tried to get him out. No such luck.

I'm sorry I wasn't a better fish mommy, Zero. You're still the prettiest betta I've ever seen.

I am so sorry for your loss! I'm sure zero lived a happy life with you even in his short amount of time. He is now swimming under the rainbow bridge! R.I.P Zero
