It's been so long since I introduced a new betta that I can't remember the process! :-?

My Betta, Neptune, passed away last week  and so I purchased a new Twin-Tail Halfmoon today to inhabit Nep's old tank.

He's been in the tank for an hour or so now, looked a little spooked at first but now he's out exploring a bit, resting on the silk plants and whatnot.

Now the question is, when do I start feeding him? Should I do it later this evening or tomorrow or in a few days? He had some pellets in his cup when I got him, but I'm not sure if he really ate any considering how many were in there. Honestly he's quite small, not even sure if he's fully grown yet or if he could even fit the pellets in his mouth (they were a bit big) ...but he looks healthy!

Thanks Mike! I'll wait to feed him until I wake up tomorrow then, and get him used to a feeding schedule :)

+1. I usually will offer 1 pellet the first night to see if they will eat. and if they don't i usually don't worry about it.
