Should I remove or leave it(divider)?

So I recently set up a 20 gallon long tank divided x3, and one section of it to me isn't offering as much room as the others(the right end side of picture) was just wondering if I should remove the divider so it's only divided x2 or leave it if it's not a big deal? I'm going to try later today and move the dividers around to see if I can make that space a little bit bigger

For some reason I have this urge of wanting to own four bettas(already have one) & I'm unsure why

Are those dividers under the sand or on top? Are you sure a Betta can't get around/under them? With the dividers being as thick as they are I would only have three compartments. I would also raise the water level to give the Betta maximum room. By the time you factor in the dividers, equipment, substrate decor and lowered water level I doubt you have much more than three gallons per fish.

They are under the sand, I've checked the dividers thoroughly with my hands(and eyes)at the corners and underneath to make sure it was secure and that they wouldn't be able to get to the other sections. I'm going to raise the water level a bit more later today too, Thanks for the advice, I'll remove that divider
