Hey all! I have a betta in a 10g tank with the filter and heater all good. Today I just added 7 ghost shrimp and they seem to be fine. My betta likes to chase them occasionally and on purpose just stare at them up close then swim away, maybe bullying I guess? lol.

Anyways, I was wondering if there is any other kind of freshwater shrimp I can add to the tank?

And if maybe 2 or 3 different kinds of shrimps can coexist together? Or is it bad to have a variety of different kinds of shrimps together in one tank? Will it be bad for my betta too?

Thanks for the input.

ghost shrimp are a little agressive towards other shrimp. you can try cherry reds, they are around $1.25-$2.00 each i think...

Shrimp will bully other types that are smaller so try to get the same size

If your betta likes to chase the ghosts, be aware that the brighter colour of the cherries will mean he will probably chase them even more. You may lose a few if he figures out that they taste good.
