Sorry your Betta isn't well,
Its hard to tell by the pic, what other signs/symptoms is he having....is the area fuzzy or just discolored, is it raised-is he clamped, flashing, lethargic, off food, hanging at the surface or bottom, any buoyancy issues.
What treatments have you tried
what is the water temp
Has he been sick and/or treated in the past 30 days-other than this issue

Need husbandry history before you placed him in the hospital tank....
Tank size, water temp, filter, live plants, additives used, appetite, tank mates, how much and how often on the water changes...I need this info to help figure out the cause.
You have had him for 2 years-correct...about how old was he when you got him-Did he come from a pet shop
