I began to suspect something was seriously wrong with Axl shortly after I brought him home. He refused to eat or interact with me or the cat, and had little interest in exploring his tank. I administered a water change yesterday and added more Seachem Prime to the tank.
Then when I woke up this morning, Axl was nowhere to be seen. It wasn't until a few minutes ago, I discovered him dead behind one of his plants.
Already the cat and I miss him dearly. I can only hope that he enjoyed the short time he spent with us before his passing.
Swim in Peace. I'll see you on the rainbow bridge, little buddy 馃枻

I'm so sorry for your loss. We do all we can to give them the best of what we can and it still is not enough. If it hasn't been that long since you got him it could be that he had something before you brought him home. Again I'm very sorry for your loss.
