I fed Taz and saw he had a few scales on top of his head gone. Will he be all right? Or could it kill him? Could my molly have attacked him?

Some clean water should be enough. Just watch out for infection.
Oh, and you have a lone molly with him? Yea it probably did it, they like groups.

2. He will be just fine, it will heal in a few days..
3. It might be the molly or it can be just him bumping into something in high speed (yea I actually had the second one happen to one of mine)

Yeah, the molly likes nipping him and in turn Taz nips him back. I am getting another mate for him soon though.

If you see something white covering the spot where he is missing the scales, make sure it's sort of...stringy and not fuzzy (like fungus). If it's kind of stringy then it's just his slime coat helping it heal :3

I think it's just a patch of scales. I looked this morning and it's almost completely healed. Nearly took my finger off after feeding him. Lol, I am such a worry wort with my betta's especially Taz, since he is my favorite
