So In my aquarium I have a beta an 2 tiger nerite snails. I bought one of the snails about a month and a half ago and I bought the seond one (larger) 2 days ago. Since I brought the second one home the betta has been flaring at it and biting it while it was hanging on the wall. He doesn't and has never bothered the one I bout a month and a half ago. I really don't want to have to get rid of my second snail but I want tl make sure its ok and a at my school there is a safe place for him in a pond community tank. My last day of school
Is tomorrow so I have to make a desision about whether or not I should bring him to my school. Has this ever hapened to anyone else? Why is he only attacking the new one? Will he ever get used to the snail?

personally i'd just watch them for a couple of days. my fish picked on my snail a few days, then he got over it. if it doesn't work out in like a week, take him back to the pet store.
