I needed to run into one of the local big chain pet stores today.

Of course, that means looking at the wall of bettas.

This tiny little dumbo ear girl was adorable. And she’s wearing hot red lipstick !!

And these two boys were beautiful. I love their gold coloration and I wonder what they’ll look like as they grow. The second boy really tugs at my heart

If it were possible I would have gotten all of them!

I totally believe that MBS (Multiple Betta Syndrome) is a serious illness and there’s apparently no cure. Ack!

teacher voice Also, according to science, multiple Betta syndrome is a disease of the mind. It's symptoms include: possessing more than a singular Betta, spending too much on said Bettas, and continually wanting more even if lack of space is a dire situation.

Currently, as already mentioned by my fellow, there is no known cure, but research has found that spoiling the ones in your care already can help to slightly curb the symptoms.

We advise those with out it to tread without caution around those individuals that do not, as it's better if it's hits them sooner than later.
