Remember to wash hands thoroughly in hot water before and after feeding your bettas or handling fish water. As well as under the finger nails!

Last night I was so tired when I got home, I grabbed a few pellets and dropped them into the tank when I got home (about 4). Then I went to make myself a sandwich so I could just eat and go to bed....

Didn't realize a few pellets got stuck on my finger (they are TINY) and made their way into my food. BLECH!! No matter how close I am to passing out, from now on I will ALWAYS wash my hands after feeding Portal Prime >.<

ESPECIALLY when feeding live foods. And doing water changes, if only because it is a good idea before and after.

I usually go home and eat before I ever go into my room to hang with Portal Prime. Yesterday I was so tired and skipped my normal routine xD BAD IDEA

Fish tuberculosis... a great reason for handwashing. ><

My cat loves the taste of betta pellets. They're like cat lollies. If I drop any, he sniffs them out, nomnom.

:lol: well glad cats like them x.x I personally don't want to nom on fish pellets. I mean... mosquito larvae is one of the ingredients. Delicious.
