Do you mean the whitish splotch on his back/side? It's hard to tell because the picture is small. Is it just discolored, or is there an actual wound there?
him*Yes. I spoke to the lady that sold him to me she said that he got stress on his way here, cause when she took off his tank he looked very upset.
Thank you very much. They like to pout sometimes. He'll be great. Gorgeous little guy.
Boy, was that a convoluted sentence! You need to post your question in the Betta Diseases and Emergencies Section as his what appears to be a wound that care and someone will have suggestions.
Do I just pass this to the disease section or create a new one? Yes I did, and she said he got stress on his way to me, that it should go away in a few days once he get used to his new environment.Boy, was that a convoluted sentence!
Whenever you have a sick Betta or one with wounds, you need to post in the Diseases and Emergecies section. You'll likely receive more immediate attention and specific advice. Myexplodingcat said it much better than I.
I could be wrong, but it's my opinion you'll have to add something along with the StressCoat to cure an open wound. Won't hurt my feelings if someone disagrees.
BTW, did you send the seller a photo?
Thank you. This happened to my little guy as well. I panicked and so I just swapped him, but I really hope your little guy gets better - his colouring and tail is gorgeous! Good luck with him![]()
Thank you, I'm new to this. You could put some Stress Coat on him if you're worried.
He's a pretty one!
For future ref, there's actually a specific section of the forum for threads about sick or injured bettas; your post will get more attention there, should you need to use it.
