Ok thanks, well I don't see anything obvious, and the fact she wont breed does not mean she is unhealthy. However if she is slightly constipated which it sounds like she could be, then I think we can look at her diet a little. I don't know anything about the Atisons pellets but a good quality pellet should have the first two ingreadients being a fish form. if you have one then a grain or maze then the food is not a very good one and full of fillers likely to cause constipation. The two most recommended foods here are the New Life Spectrum, Betta pellets and the Omega one, Betta buffet pellets. Also if your girl does suffer constipation it can help to pre soak the pellets in a cup of a small amount of tank water for about a minute before feeding this will soften them up and hopefully prevent her from getting constipated.
Frozen Daphnia is another good food that can help keep things moving as it can act as a laxative for her.
For your size tank I think one water change a week once the Ammonia, Nitrite is settling at zero will be fine. With your slight ammonia reading you could look at using Seachems prime water conditioner as that will detoxify the Ammonia and any Nitrites, and can be added to the tank a drop per gallon to keep ammonia and nitrites locked up.
