Mine does that too but in his case he is just playing with his reflection.

I'd never had a betta not do that.. only one had parasites but his swimming was just.. i mean he looked totally out of control spastic non stop speed 10 power 24/7

... Yes, Sotto must be excited to have a 10gal to himself (all the other fish seem to fear him since Drax was such a bully, yet Sotto is so Shy) so he must just be playing since there is no noticeable face problems. So weird having Sotto have both eyes (Drax was blind in one eye). Aha aha aha
