R.I.P. Sparks :-( He was amazing, active and gorgeous in color.

I got a Fluval Chi for free from a friend, so I decided to put Sparks in it. He never jumped out of his other tank, but jumped out of the Fluval, unfortunately by the time I found him it was too late.

No joke. I bought a Mr. Aqua tank and I love it (rimless! so cool!) but it didn't come with a lid and I knew my now-deceased fish to be a jumper. I kept his water level really low, and had a local glass company cut me a custom lid for the top of his tank. Cost me like $4 and 48 hours. Nagano never jumped it. Instead he succumbed to some kind of mystery bloat.

Im actually going to make a lid out of an old tub mat today! So I can put Dragonfly in it, it's such a nice tank.

Awe! Im sorry to hear that :-( It's hard to lose a pet, even if it's a fish

It's okay, thank you. It was horribly sad. I was extremely upset for a few days, but then I found myself staring at Nagano's empty tank and wanting a new fish. So that's when I got Wraith and he is awesome so far. Hopefully he doesn't get the mystery bloat too!

I love the Chi tanks; they're so pretty. I totally plan to get one someday. Good luck with your tub mat solution!
