I have a heavily planted 20 gal divided tank with my male on one side and my female on the other. I went out of town a week ago and just came back today... and was shocked to find my female on my male side  poor girl was hiding deep in the plants. My boyfriend insist he did nothing so maybe she jumped the divider?? After I mover her to her side I noticed in my male was staying in the corner next to a bubble nest. When I looked closer there were little white things dropping from the nest and swimming back up. I can't believe my bettas even survived! My female is big and aggressive while my male is kind of small and non aggressive. I am pretty new to betta keeping and haven't owned any other fish before these... So I have NO CLUE what I should do! DDD:

Ok so first get your female out of the tank completely. Get her into another tank. Get your male out once the fry start swimming (by tomorrow or the day after). The plants will create infusoria that the fry will eat. Try to get a micro worm culture from ebay, aquabid, or someone on here and some baby brine shrimp eggs to hatch out.

Once you get those you'll be fine for about a month. Read the stickies in this section!
