A few weeks ago my female Koi Betta Daiquiri had some white stuff in/on her eyes but it cleared up after a few days. Now it’s back and part of her face looks swollen!
She’s been resting on the sponge I have over the water intake more the past two days. She’s been eating fine and playing with me like normal (following me when I’m by the tank, following my finger). I just lost a corydora to what I’m thinking was finrot or some fungal infection (waiting for some help on another post) and now I’m worried about my girl! I can’t get her to flare to look at her gills but she’s acting normal besides sitting on the sponge.
I’ve had a bit of a black beard algae out break but I’ve gotten it almost under control with bigger water changes and some AlgaeFix. I soaked all but two tank decorations in very hot water and a ton of algae fix three days ago, scrubbed them and then letting them air dry over night and then dipping in treated water

Housing:
How many gallons? 37
Does it have a filter? Yes
Does it have a heater? Yes
What temperature is your tank? 77-81 throughout the day
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? Pump and filter disrupts water
Does your Betta have tank mates? What kind? Yes, one ivory snail and 5 cories

Food:
What food brand do you use? TOPFIN Betta Crumbles ProSeries and API Bottom feeder pellets (sometimes she nibbles on those)
Do you feed flakes or pellets? Pellets/crumbles
Freeze-dried? Yes, frozen bloodworms
How often do you feed your Betta? How much? 2-3 times a day, one pinch of crumbles. Frozen worms once every other week, normally after the deeper cleaning of the tank after I take the decor out

Maintenance:
Before your Betta became ill how often did you perform a water change? About once a week
What percentage of water did you change? ~50%
What is the source of your water? Treated tap water
Do you vacuum the substrate or just dip out water? Vacuum
What additives do you use other than conditioner? What brand of conditioner? Top Fin water conditioner and plant food, StressEnzyme

Water Parameters:
What are your water parameters? Please give exact numbers. If tested by pet store please get exact numbers. "Fine" or "Safe" won't help us help you. Important: Test your water before the regular water change; not after one.

Ammonia: .00
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: ~20
pH: 6.5
Hardness (GH):60
Alkalinity (KH):in between the 0-40, closer to the 0 color

Symptoms and Treatment:
When did you first notice the symptoms? White eye originally around the 12th and then it went away. Then again yesterday morning. Swollen face late last night/early morning
How has your Betta’s appearance changed? White spot on both eyes, right side of face swollen
How has your Betta’s behavior changed? A little, she’s been resting on the sponge filter lately
Is your Betta still eating? Yes
Have you started treating your Betta? If so, how? No
Does your Betta have any history of being ill? Maybe? Cause if the eye thing earlier in the month
How long have you owned your Betta? 2 months
Was he or she ill or suffering some sort of damage when purchased? No

I moved her to a hospital tank to be safe and I noticed that she has a white dot on her stomach. It’s raised and I’m thinking maybe it’s a poop? I honestly cannot tell. The hospital tank is at 82 bc I’m worried she’s got a parasite and other things I’ve read online said to keep the tanks/fish a little warmer to help get the infection out of the fish. I also did a big dose of API Stress Enzyme to help her out in the new tank since I super scrubbed it and everything that was in it (not with soap of course) after using that PIMAFIX in it last night and having Burr die

I gave her some of the Fin & Body cure from API this morning and I noticed that there’s small little white flecks on the swollen part of her face that I didn’t notice yesterday. I don’t see any anywhere else so I don’t think it’s ich. Her activity is down a little but she’s in a such a tiny tank so I think that’s why.

The swelling in her face has started to go down but it’s still red. I’m on day 3 of API Fin & Body cure in a hospital tank. Her activity is down but I think it’s bc she’s sad and misses her friends in the big tank.
a few people another site have recommended salt after I’m done with the medicine bc they think it might be dropsy. Any advice on using salt for this type of thing?

Dose salt one tbs per gallon and make sure it's freshwater salt. With you and her well!

The redness is gone! But her swelling is back up, I’ve done 2 salt treatments (one on June 4th for ~6 mins and yesterday for 10 mins). She’s still in her QT 1 gallon and once I stopped doing the API Cure, I put the filter back in and I’ve been doing ~25-50% water changes every day. Should I keep doing the salt or go back to the API Cure?
