I'm planning to get some tetra fishes together with my betta once I get enough money to buy a big tank and decorations.

Now I'm feeding my betta schedule consist of pallets dried bloodworm and dried shrimp. Will my tetra fish eat those?

Are tetra carnivorous?

I currently have a sponge filter in my betta tank. I'm upgrading to a bigger tank (haven decided yet). Do I need to get another filter that kind of hang on top?

Tetra work OK with Betta. They are schooling species which need a group of at least 5 or 6. They'll eat what Betta eat. Here's the Tetra profile section:

Characid Species

For more on compatibility see the "Compatibility" section in the main Betta menu.
