I bought some frozen mini-cubes of bloodworms yesterday, but unfortunately, they thawed before I got home. :-(

The package is still sealed (except for the sections that I used yesterday), but I was wondering how long the bloodworms can be kept in the fridge.

My betta "bible" Aquarium Care of Bettas advises against feeding thawed and refrozen foods. As one forum user pointed out to me, it's a matter of bacteria and the same reason you don't feed a person thawed and refrozen meat. Keep the food in the refrigerator for one day at the most. This is just a safety precaution so if you've already fed your betta the thawed and refrozen food, don't panic. Chances are he'll be fine.
