hey!!

I am looking into buying a new heater for my 5.5gal tank. I have made a post about this before, but am wondering if anyone has used the Cobalt Aquatics Flat Neo-Therm heater.

Cobalt Aquatics Flat Neo-Therm Heater with Adjustable Thermostat (Fully-Submersible, Shatterproof Design) from 25W to 300W https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008AGHH8Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_5D61DBSPXSSJPHCE9G87

It’s pricy for sure, but I’m wondering if it’s worth it for something reliable! Would love some insight from people who have used this one :)

I use a 25W in a 7.9 gal tank.
It‘s working perfectly fine since half a year now and is barely visible.
This might be the only disadvantage as you have to take a close look to see if it‘s on and having no failure.
If the tank is less planted or smaller it shouldn‘t be a problem.
I‘m astonished how expensive they are in the U.S. They are half the prize in Germany (manufactured right across the border in Poland).
