I saw them yesterday, but didn't realize they were alive. Then today i saw one darting around on the glass. They weren't there before that I ever noticed. They are barely a millimeter long and they inch along the inside of the glass. They remind me of plankton I saw in a science class once. I don't think they're bothering my fish, but he does glass surf a good bit. I was wondering where they came from and if they might be harmful to him?

They are planaria ^_^ good for healthy tanks :-D your Betta will most likely eat them, I know mine do lol. They generally come about when you have been over feeding or perhaps there is left over food in the tank that you might not have seen. Doing water changes will help get rid of them, but otherwise they are harmless.
