I have 1 mini toad that I had to rehome after we moved :(. But I had a picture that I could find of him eating food so if you thinks it’s disgusting, you might not wanna scroll down. It’s not gruesome.
His name was Croaker (cheesy name )

And, Croaker is a GREAT name!!
I named a tree frog on our deck Crooooak (all the o's are indeed pronounced)

Sorry you had to get rid of him.. He sounds like he was a character!

Don’t mind the butchered nail polish! That’s a comparison between a 14year olds smaller than average Index finger and thumb

I have a 7-10 gallon tank. I don’t actually know the size. The main keys of keeping toads and frogs are to have Hiding spaces and a very damp environment. As you can see in the pictures below I have a lot of hiding spaces. Moss is very useful as it makes there habitat sheltered and a natural look. Moss is east to find where I live. Another things is sticks and hallowed out bark. Toads love hiding in it! For the flooring I had a mix of sand and dirt. It’s very water down and damp so the toad and frog can burrow. I have a medium size water dish with just enough water that it doesn’t go over the amphibians head. I put a few emergency ecape rocks. I give them I diet of store bought crickets,Mealworms,Ants, and Beetles. I don’t know what Else to say but feel free to ask as many questions as yOu want. You can pretty much get all the plants from nature.
