This was when I first got him. He was living in a cold environment with unchanged water/filter and algae growing in the filter. Also, the pink rocks were taking away his color imo. They were too bright. It was horrible.

The picture below is an update after a week of having him. I added a heater, changed the water, added some moss balls and other plants and changed the rocks to a darker color.

And this is a photo taken of him today. Nearly a month later from the photo above! He appears to be growing his fins back beautifully. Super happy with his healthy looking condition.
