I work at a vet clinic and my coworkers know of my new hobby of fish keeping and my supervisor told me the other day, "why don't you take the tank downstairs?" and to my surprise they had 3 glass tanks in storage.
I took one home, which I think I've determined to be 20G. It also has a warranty sticker that expired in July of 1988, just missed the mark lol.
I have no experience with pre-used tanks, but I put this one in my bathtub and filled it to the brim to see if it still held water and it didn't leak.
I wonder if I should still play it safe and buy some caulking material to line the inside of the tank? And if so, what kind of caulk would you recommend?
