Hi all! Here is whats going on.....

Got a small male crowntail from the store. He was lively when I got him. Not very wild but enough to think he was ok and not sick and looked healthy.

He stopped eating and his colors faded. I tried medicine - which got him more active but still no eating.

I did a 100 % water change and scrubbed and cleaned everything to make sure it wasn't something on any of the items making him sick. I think maybe something on the plants wasn't sitting with him too well.

So he loved the full water change and is eating! The thing is he is STILL very small and really dull color still.

I am not sure what else to do. I have done everything the way I am supposed to. I even spoil him with frozen foods every once in a while which he eats up.

Just looks like he is brown almost..... when he looked like this at one point. Very small but looked vibrant. Where the red is in this pic, is brown now. The blue is a very pale color.

Not sure what to do :(

Does he have a heater? When they get cold, their color can get dull.
