I love reading the threads/posts on this Forum. And, when possible, I like to try helping.

However, my eyesight prevents me from reading posts that are walls of text with no paragraph breaks and long, long paragraphs. I have even had to stop reading answers that are walls of text. The lines jump around and get mixed up or missed.

So if you see something or write something you would like me to read know that if it is walls of text I just cannot physically do so any more without suffering severe headaches. And if you answer in walls of text and I repeat the very same information or seem to rudely refute anything you advise know that it is not intentional. It is because I cannot read what you posted. So please accept my advance apologies.

By the same token, if you DO NOT want me to read something, post long, run together paragraphs. ;-)

I was asked privately about this and thought maybe I ought post publicly should anyone else wonder.

Guilty. I'm so sorry Russell. I know we discussed this before and I keep on doing it. Old habits I guess. I start out with an explanation and just don't think. I will try and do better.

I understand your problems with large quantities of text lacking to be broken up, and myself included that I have trouble reading large walls of text as well, it’s almost intimidating too. My way of typing is to write out two or three sentences and then make a new line, that keeps things a bit more neat and easily readable.

Sorry! I know I do this so I'll try to start separating things out more.

There is a website that has a free text to speech converter that you can just copy and paste text into and control the speed and it shows the words on the bottom of the screen in a bigger text. You can even change the voice that is reading it to you. Not sure if you would be interested in it but one of my friends uses it because she has the same problem with reading and getting headaches. Hope this can help you! https://www.naturalreaders.com/online/

Thank you so much. This will help a lot of others.

I was copying and pasting into a document and randomly making paragraphs. Unfortunately, that got old, fast. :) It's not the reading that is the problem; it is long posts with no paragraph breaks or those long posts with few breaks. My eyes mix up the lines so I have to go back and reread when I can tell I missed something.

The website I linked makes a new paragraph after every sentence so you wouldn't have to make the random breaks! I totally understand skipping lines, I am dyslexic so in school, I would do that all the time with scantrons!
