Opal is absolutely breathtaking! I love that big plant at the back, is that Amazon Sword?

This is my first time using live plants. My betta is shy and has had some quirks since I got him last December. I noticed he always stayed wrapped around the one plant I had, so I just kept adding more plants until he seemed happy. Not the most beautiful or artistic layout, I just added and adjusted until he approved. He loves jamming himself under/between things or laying sideways under the floating plants.

That looks awesome, great job!! 😍 I’m still afraid of planting stem plants as I don’t have a nutrient-rich substrate (just gravel), so all I’ve ever used are epiphytes, moss and floaters 😅
