My city water has been discolored with.. black dust? or something in it for a week now. They fixed a line so it's a bit yukky for now.. anyways.. I've been too afraid to use this water in it's current state for my Betta boy. My question is, is it all right to use bottled water for him till the city water clears up?

I would.......but use dechlorinator with the bottled water just like you do with the tap water-also-don't make large water changes with the bottled water....stay in the 25% area for now-daily if you need to-
The chemistry is most likely different between the two and you don't want any extreme changes and when your tap water clears up-you want to make small daily changes to re-acclimate him back to the tap water....
