Hi,

I'm thinking of shopping for a new aquarium for my betta. I'm looking for a roughly 6 gallon tank, for less than $100.

Any suggestions?

When I was at Petsmart they had some pretty nice tanks (no lid or anything) for really cheap! I make my own lids with craft mesh :-D

Not sure if they had a 6 gal, but they did have a 2.5, 5 and 10 gal

Why not wait for the Petco dollar-per-gallon sale and get a 10 gal? You could easily keep one betta or divide it and have two. Plus, if you cycle it, you'll only have to change the water once a week.

Absolutely love that one. Been looking at it myself since my eldest guy likes shallow and wide. Would use my own heater and filter though, which I guess defeats half its purpose but love the design and light hood.
