I posted a thread earlier but I feel this isn't related to that anymore. In short I have a 55 gal I'm going to divide in two for each of my Betta's. I'm gonna go with a paludarium theme but without the land part. Ya know, not filled fully but with plants coming out the top, drift wood and layered rocks. Anyone have experience with this? Any idea how I should start filter wise? Also any ideas on materials for dividing the tank? I was going to use frosted glass but idk

I can't wait to see it! I'm not very experienced with aquascaping, so I don't have many useful tips. I did see someone had a fake driftwood that could suction onto the glass, and she used that to lift the background plants higher (tied the plants to the driftwood, which was suctioned onto the back wall). If I find the thread with the name of that product, I'll come link it here for you.

Ah, so a Riparium ;-)

Aqua_Aurora does those and can give you some great tips!

Likely you can just use some sponge filters in your set up and you'll be fine if it's just two betta's in the whole thing!

That's what it's called!!! I'll definitely check them out thank you :) sponge filter is something I did look at. I was thinking the eheim canister filter. Idk if I spelled that right
