Ive been keeping a sustainable 1 gal tank. it is very fascinating to watch all the tiny critters in there and the snails( 2 trumpet snails +a couple of babies, 1 ramshorn snail)
my minnow just died if fish tb today though, so Ive been plannin to use it to just house shrimps and snails.
Today i was observing my tiny ecosysterm when I notice that there are some white patches on the glass. I had originally thought it was water residue that I didnt clean off the glass, because that what they look like. But they were actually inside the aquarium!
I observed that all living creatures, the snail, the cyclops etc all seems to be avioiding it. the snail will veer around it and the crustaceans will jump away upon contact. Only the worm( could b planaria) will hang around the tiny patches. should I be concerned? what are they? I figured it couldnt be algea since the snail aint munching on it.
