I have a 11gal long tank with tetras and guppies, yoyo loach and 2 cory cats. It's planted and growing very well. Water parameters are stable.
Backstory:
When I bought the tetras and put them in my newly cycled tank I noticed 1 had a few big white bumps. I watched the bumps but they did not reproduce or go away. I went ahead and treated with paraguard and nothing happened. Then I had a ich outbreak, I thought. I treated for ich using Kordon rapid cure. Ich did not go away! It got worse. I raised tank temp and treated again. Again, it did not work. So I hit it hard with seachem cupramine. It finally went away. My tetras were left with what I thought might be scar tissue or missing scales and it would heal. Not that I've ever seen that on fish before, but I'm not a experienced tetra keeper. It's been over a month since I finally got rid of the white spots.
The marks have not went away. They appear to be inside of the fish like cysts. What is this? How do I treat it?
Other than the spots, the fish are super healthy and active. Two have something like a lump on the chin area. I could not get a good picture of. They eat like piranha. I'm thinking it's a embedded parasite or something, but I really do not know and my searches have come up empty.
