I'm so torn right now :-(

I'm totally and completely in love with this guy...

He's from Martinismommy on Aquabid. 1st place winner and comes with free sib for $15! (link)

He would be a great addition and something to work with as far as marbles (since Rio isn't a good breeder). The problem is his auction is running out tomorrow. I have the money but I just don't know... should I really be spending $50 on fish right now?

What do you think? I get paid friday so I won't be broke very long and I was planning on getting a fish anyway. I just know what my Mom is gonna say if I tell her I got another fish

If you're in love with him, have plans and a place for him, and can take care of him, I don't see why not :)

I think you should get him. If you have plans for him and room, why not? Plus if you really like him nothing else will be the same.So you should get him =)

Ugh.. I just don't know. I'm the Queen of indecision. Its my money and all that but I still feel like I'm going to get in trouble LOL.

I think I'm going to put a bid in on him and go to bed. If no one else has bid when I get up I'll take it as a sign that it was meant to be, if someone does bid that's fine. I really want one of her multi's but this is a great deal for this male.

If my Mom gives me lip I'll just tell her its my birthday present to myself and its much better than the $80+ fish I could have tried to get from Thailand.

Hmm.. it says reserve price not yet met. I don't know how much the reserve price is :-/ the auction says free sib if reserve is met. :?

LOL.. I realized this is my first time bidding on a fish on Aquabid. Considering how much of my time is spent there I can't believe I haven't bid before.

He's really nice. I really like his color.

I've been eyeing some of her multis as well but the only problem is she only lives like 15 minutes away from me and her shipping cost is $18.

You should email her and ask if she might be willing to do a pick up. Some breeders will do that. Her fish are really nice and she is a top IBC breeder.

:( I don't think I'm going to get him. I looked up what the reserve price meant and its a hidden amount that the seller will accept for the auction. The starting price is set lower to attract bidders. To actually win the fish the reserve price must be met.

I upped my bid to $20 and the reserve still isn't met. I can't go any higher, especially since I want express shipping.

I knew it was too good to be true.
