[Bellator The Betta]

Hi! I am planning on getting another betta in about a week or two. I am worried that if I get my betta the day the store gets them that the transfer to my house could kill it. Is this a problem I should worry about, and if so if I see a betta I like the day they get their shipment should I ask them to hold it in the back for a couple days? Or should I get it that day and then leave it in the cup for an hour before acclimating it? I just don’t want it to die because of the stress of so much travel. I also want to get my betta the day the get their shipment because then I get first pick lol Any advice?

You should be fine getting him or her the day they arrive. Acclimate as you normally do. I like to keep the lights off during and for an hour after acclimating.
