Hi! I'm new to the forums (and bettas) and I was wondering if anyone around here could tell me what sort of betta Hannibal over here might be? I got him from Petsmart about a month ago, and I don't know what type he is, or what to call the coloring he has.

The lighting in my room is terrible at night, but these are pretty accurate, color-wise. He's a pretty faint pink, and his fins have a faint iridescent pastell-y purple/pink thing going on.

I love Hannibal to bits, he's really active and loves watching me while i'm at my desk, and following my finger through the glass. C: <3 <3 <3

wut? somehow I created this poem. I don't know why!

He's some kind of light pastel/grizzle,
and though it's really hard to tell (that totally rhymed, lol),
I don't know pastel colours well,
he'll attract many a swooning belle.

He may marble, he may not
Though I know you are well besot
And he is a pretty little fish
Enjoy his company - cater to his every wish!

Lol, that's cute fleetfish!

He's a cellophane primarily with a teeny bit of pineapple scaling. The iridescence is what makes his fins look more solid but he's still a cellophane, they have varying degree's of irid on their fins and technically for a good cellophane you want less iridescence but that's just the breeding side of it ^_^
