Aristotle, my lovely Grizzle CT, has been acting really weird lately. I can't diagnose it.
Usually during the night, sometimes even during the day, he will freak RIGHT out. He won't jump at all, but he zips around his tank like an absolute maniac, and often runs into the walls so I end up hearing repeated BONNG sounds. I came home today and noticed he has a small hole in his dorsal, so the plant he has in there may be too sharp. He's resting at the bottom of his tank, but does come up for air easily and ate just as excitedly as he usually does. He's not sideways and doesn't have any spots and I see no trace of velvet, either. His scales aren't pinecone'd and he's not bloated.

What type of food do you feed your betta fish?: Omega 1
How often do you feed your betta fish?: Twice a day
Maintenance
How often do you perform a water change?: Weekly. Just changed yesterday.
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change?: 100%
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change?: Water Conditioner, and Aq salt this time.
Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed?: Not much, except the rims of his gills are red and there's a small hole in his dorsal.

When did you start noticing the symptoms?: Yesterday.
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how?: I added Aquarium salt to his tank yesterday, but it seems to have made it worse.
Does your fish have any history of being ill?: No.
How old is your fish (approximately)?: Old enough to be an adult; 8 months?
