Hi!
I was asking what is the general rule to wait for tap water to be safe in a new tank to add fish in? I have a 10 gal. tank, filled 2/3 of the way, added with the right amount of conditioner. Do I let it sit for an hour or a day? Thanks!

If you followed the bottle's directions it should have worked by the time you walked to the computer

It is fairly instantaneous as far as I know. Are you using Prime?

Also, the thing I would be more concerned about is if you're aware of how to cycle your tank? Look into the stickies on this website about the nitrogen cycle and how to get that going in your tank! If you're already aware of it, then great! With a ten gallon tank you'll want to establish a cycle (fish in or fish out) and your water will be safe for your new fishy.
