hey everyone i was recently givin a 20 gallon tank and i was was also givin a octogon shaped 32 gallon tank..


i have heard that the octogon tank might not be good for betta fish because its deeper than wide is this true what would you guys do?

go with the 20 gallon, easier to split also if u wanted multiple male bettas

I used to have an octagon shaped tank a long time ago, they are extremely difficult and laborious to clean due to the shape. I would also go with the 20 gallon

It wouldn't be bad for your betta. But they prefer length over height. Where they originate, they live in shallow rice fields- 6 inches deep, miles long.

I'd also go with the 20 gallon.
