My little blueberry has had a white bump on his side since I got him. Been getting bigger but I didn't really think nothing of it as it didn't seem to affect him in any way. This morning he suddenly refuses to eat and has been hiding in a corner next to his plant. I put him in a breeding box and he is lying down in the corner. He has little white bumps on his tail and scale. Any idea what it could be?

Symptoms and Treatment:
When did you first notice the symptoms? This morning
How has your Betta’s appearance changed? White growth is larger
How has your Betta’s behavior changed? Lethargic and gasping
Is your Betta still eating? No
Have you started treating your Betta? If so, how? He is in a breeding box so he us separated from the other fish
Does your Betta have any history of being ill? No nothing other then the bump
How long have you owned your Betta? Few months
Was he or she ill or suffering some sort of damage when purchased yes he had the bump but it was almost unnoticeable then

I moved him to a hospital tank that is a little warmer but he still can't swim much and has little to no reaction to tapping on the glass or nudges with a net. He will put on short bursts once in a while to flit across the tank but nothing else. My main concern is the growth on his side is affecting him internally even though it's not that bad externally. The gasping has gotten worse after he swims in bursts but then returning to its previous severity.
