Hi all, I noticed that my Betta, Noem has a white-ish/clear string thing prefacing his bowel movements. Is this something to be concerned about? Is it internal parasites? At the end of it his poop looks normal but this is new and I'd rather be safe than sorry. Just for information purposes he's very active and eating well. Thanks so much!

If you mean to say that his poo is white and stringy, the first thing I'd check is his food. What color is it? If his food is white, I wouldn't be so worried, because as their poo should be the same color as their food. If his food is red and his poo is white, it's something to examine.

Does he look skinny?
