I just got a new blue colored betta fish from petsmart yesterday. He is a day old and is in a 1 gallon tank for now. I noticed he has small white spots on the top of his head. I'm not sure if he was sick before I got him and if he is sick then how to treat him. I just got him and don't want him to die. Also, he's not flaring, is pretty friendly, but if I put in my finger to touch him he lets me and doesn't swim away. Is he sick or just super friendly? Thanks for any advice :)

First, you shouldn't really be touching your betta. I know some people like to do it, but it really isn't good for them. There is no telling what is on your hands, and you can rub off their protective slime coat.

Also, what is the texture of the spots? Are they fuzzy?

Please fill this out too so we can get an idea of his situation: (I know you just got him, so fill out whatever applies)
