Hello, everyone! SO the other day I noticed something! My boy used to have this lovely red coloring where his fins met his body. It has since vanished! Is this a normal part of growing up?

It is normal for bettas to change colour as they age.

He's a good looking boy! A couple of the fish where I work have done this as well. Once they were in fresh water and bigger holding bowls, they seem to have blossomed brightly!
Your fish is handsome- I love the charcoal fins!
