Ive had this betta Gigi for about 4 months? and she always ate just fine, until tonights feeding, she even ate in the morning. I had noticed she wasn't coming out to greet me like she had before, and just now when i fed her, she wouldnt eat, and the food has been the same. Ive also noticed sometimes shes at the bottom of the tank too, im really worried, is there anything i should do? She isnt pineconing, theres no white spots, her fins arent clamped or any big/recent fin tears, theres nothing fuzzy on her, no cloudy eyes, no holes in her head, her eyes arent swollen. Her stomach is kind of big though, and its more square? but shes always been that way. What really worries me though is the fact she spat out her food, shes laying on things, something shes never done before, she does still swim around, but its not nearly as much as before. You can also see her operculum and mouth moving.
Water params:
nitrate is ~20 ppm
nitrite is ~0 ppm
total hardness is ~25 ppm
total alkaline is ~0
ph is ~6.2
ammonia ~0
I know my ph is a bit low, ive been trying to get it up by doing water changes (several times a week, i domt even give my nitrate a chance to get higher than 20 ppm, and ive been trying to get the ph up). But its also been sitting at that 6.2 for a while (it went down from ~6.8 but i think that could have possibly been from IALs?).

I have her with 2 other bettas (and panda corys), I did have 2 more, but they just started pineconing out of nowhere (within like a week or two of having them) and in like 2 days after I noticed lethargy, they passed, and so now im really worried. Theres also a lot of hiding places, and things to break up the line of sight. And if this was an aggression issue, wouldnt this have started before? Because really nothing has changed, she gets along with everyone, and theres a few false charges and I guess on the rare occasion, some nips (ive never seen it happen and I genuinely sit in front of my tank watching them for hours, not saying it doesnt happen, its just really not a common occurance), but thats normal from what ive read? Is there anything I can do? I have methylene blue and aquarium salt, and im leaning towards using that, but im also kind of scared to use it because Im really god awful at math.
And sorry for the length of this post.
(Also posted this on fishlore bc im genuinely so worried for her)

Hi! I know you gave us lots of info, but could you fill out this form just in case you missed anything?

For now, do not use methylene or aquarium salt, as neither will help this. If you have scentless epsom salt, you can remove her to a separate container to do an epsom salt bath at a rate of 1tsp salt/gallon water for 5-8 minutes. This will hopefully help reduce bloating, which I believe is from constipation (I can't be certain until I have some of the info on the form).

i didnt give her either, but since the other people on fishlore were saying it was dropsy and to use maracyn 2 but i had also been reading elsewhere that kanaplex does work too (which i have) and so i used that and shes alr eating and far more active (she wasnt on thurs and fri). Im still waiting for the epsom salt to get here but she is acting better already!!!!!!
