I have had a my betta fish for around 5 months and I remember reading that betta fish eat insects in the wild. Today I threw an ant I found in the kitchen into his tank (after rinsing the ant under water) and he ate it up and I didn't notice any issues. Is this a good idea to continue doing this? Thanks!
