Freckle looking growth on left front fin

Hey guys,

My girl and I bought our betta, Squeaks, in September. He's been an amazing fish and I love the little guy. Awhile after we got him, we noticed a small red dottish looking thing on his front left fin. His right fin is perfectly white/translucent, but the growth on his right fin has grown a bit over time. I can't get a good picture of it, but I know it's not fin rot or anything as we take very good care of him.

It's just this freckle-looking red growth that looks to be slowly taking over his left swimming fin (not tail fins). I can't find any info online or anything. Please help!

Here's pictures of him in action if anyone wants to see:

Could you get a clearer picture?
Maybe his fins are just colouring up?

These pictures aren't the best, but I took them why I was cleaning his tank. The reddish growth is on one fin but not the other one. I clean his tank every 5-7 days, his tank has a heater but no filter, not sure about the water numbers and whatnot.

It doesn't look like a sore to me. It's growing inside/on the fin and its' definitely bigger than it was a few months ago. I haven't seen anything on this site that is similar to what I see on him, so I really hope it's just color spots.
