Do I have NitrITEs yet? Should I wait a few days and let the ammonia sit and see if any NitrITEs come in?

I've had it for 2 and a half weeks. The reason it is overfilled is because I filled the tank water to 5 mil mark and adding 8 drops of each (#1 and #2) it overfilled it.
