Petrie’s new 3.5 gallon tank

Hello everyone!
I am happy to report that Petrie is no longer bloated and I decided to upgrade his tank and make some more room on my desk for it. He moved from a 1.5 to a 3.5 gallon (+heater and filter) and is loving life. I am however sad that I had to discard of his HUGE bubble nest when switching tanks. His favorite thing to do is to swim through the stream of water coming from the filter and fly across the tank because of the current LOL. Also, look at these colors! New patches of gold under his chin. Thanks everyone for the love and support.

I have almost the same set up lol same rock but I turned it over to have a bigger opening is that an anibias one difference I have a 3gal don't you just love your bettas first reaction in a new home

This is hysterical! Great minds think alike. Don’t know what type of plant it is LOL. Will be getting 1-2 more in the next 2 weeks and getting a bigger hide. I’m enjoying watching him swim around in the space he never had before. His personality is really showing!

Petrie is the most social fish my family owns.. he gets so excited when someone comes home and the dogs bark he comes to the front of the tank to greet people and will follow your finger and do about any trick for food. He legitimately plays in his filter stream and will brush up against my hand and sit in my palm when I’m cleaning the tank or rotating the plant! I imagine him to sound like Pewdiepie, if you know who that is…
