I read on a post here that installing a bubble wand might help with cyanobacteria, so I'm going to try it. A few questions:
- How long should the bubble wand be for a 5.5 gallon tank in order for it to give sufficient oxygenation? I don't want it to be longer than necessary, because a new wall of bubbles would probably be stressful for my betta.
- Is there a particular brand of bubble wand you'd recommend? I want something that makes lots of fine bubbles along its entire length, and that will continue to do so.
- Can you recommend a good quality, quiet air pump that is the right size for this purpose?
